Wildfires in Athens

With deep sorrow, Athens, Greece and the whole of the world watched the severe consequences of global warming: very high temperatures, dry weather and strong winds resulted in a huge fire in the Mati region, an area very close to the school. The CGS community is mourning for all the wildlife that was lost the human lives and expresses its condolences to all families involved. We wish that this is the last fire in Greece, in Spain, in Portugal, in California..in all places all over the world that are threatened by such devastation.
