Children of elementary school Aystetten research on air in the "Experimentarium"

On the trail of Einstein and Newton were the students of class 2a of the elementary school Aystetten on Tuesday, 26.2.2019. The lesson day was entirely based on the motto of free research. As part of the partner school program of the educational initiative 3malE of the Lechwerke AG, the class 2a of the elementary school Aystetten had applied for a workshop in the Experimentarium to Bobingen - and received the contract! True to the 3malE motto "Discover, explore, experience", the young researchers had the opportunity to gain knowledge in the natural sciences by experimenting with a variety of materials.At the end of our erasmus + project "STEM for all seasons", the children were free to research, experiment and explore scientific phenomena with the air of experimentation with curiosity and enthusiasm. The children filled bags of air, built air brakes, air missiles, a wind machine and much more. The students were not only sensitized for the so-called STEM subjects, but also social skills as well as language and motor skills were promoted. The class was accompanied pedagogically by Mr. Mönninger, trainer of the "House of the Little Scientists".
